Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Baern was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
