Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a rapier, but if one is not available he will default to his sickle. His silver hair is braided into rings. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Thervan speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: A 5'9" eastern man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His silver hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. A freak accident while working with his Miner mother left him crippled. He bought a lance and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and money/treasure

He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. His hair is chestnut and curly. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Kody lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears a tattered pair of loose blue pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. Through the years after Oloric was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Oloric's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a Layabout soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Alston is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Healer. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Healer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and regain custody of his son
