Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he tends to wear a green poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His crest is short and black. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines red.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Howard's homeland. Howard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Korfel does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Korfel reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
