He prefers to carry a crossbow, but if one is not available he will default to his bastard sword, he is not a threatening figure. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cook born in the past three hundred years. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the west to a Cook, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Qemuel was born with his father's beautiful face. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the north were limited. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
