History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Pikar was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Pikar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carpenter. He has achieved small success as a Carpenter.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new carpenter responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and his religion dominates his actions
