Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Zed is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Born in the east to a Ploughman, Nalral learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Nalral abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
