Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Patrick does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Balam's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in the south. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His crest is rusty and curly. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is his passion.
