History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Healer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second son.

History: The child of a Shipwright, who enjoyed hunting, Shump was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cairn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of a Fisher, who enjoyed hunting, Zaffrab was taken on many hunting expeditions. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
