Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Bertram's homeland. Bertram decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Adrex hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Adrex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
