History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Through the years after Sammal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Sammal's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Barakas was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Barakas decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
