History: Brug was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He became a Painter soon after.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kiirith was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Kody hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Kody was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Kody's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
