Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a greataxe on his belt. His red hair, when down, is lengthy. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
