History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He bought a kukri and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Gormogord was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gormogord fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

History: He was born in the north. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
