History: Born to a Cook, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He struck the Scribe job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Marbas speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Marbas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
