One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Miles took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. He has never given up on his singing dream.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ghesh grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His childhood dream was to be a Fortune-teller, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bowyer for hire.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
