History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He struck the Hunter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bellfounder. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
