Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thorin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thorin. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: This slender man stands about 4'9". He wears a black armored body suit, with a simple blue line shooting up and back down. He has no hair. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heward fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ortegar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of a Crown-heir, who enjoyed hunting, Ortegar was taken on many hunting expeditions. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Ortegar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He got into the Blacksmith business at a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Blacksmith for hire.
