History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Bellfounder, but he got bored and became a Bookbinder. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and balancing his hectic life and new navigator responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bounty Hunter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Theren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theren grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
