History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. A true patriot, Baern would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Baern took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. History: Curran hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
