History: Balam lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Farmer born in the past three hundred years. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gifted student he started as a Herbalist, but he got bored and became a Farmer. He tends to his Farmer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a Blacksmith, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are silver and beady.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants revenge against brigands

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Priest for hire.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and expand his business
