History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Dragonborn, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Dayereth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Torinn has worked very hard to control his curse. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he desires power and/or immortality
