History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thorin grew up listening to his father's many stories. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Thorin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
