History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When Kerkad reached his early adolescence his Dragonborn father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Baern has worked very hard to control his curse. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
