Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Chad was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Barber. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

This search led him directly into Laborer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Laborer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Laborer like his father before him.
