Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Gifted from a young age, Alston studied abroad. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Alston's homeland. Alston decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alston fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Akoth was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.
