History: Born in the east to a Dyer, Henk learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dyer and was forced into it by his family; and balancing his hectic life and new dyer responsibilities is difficult

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
