In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Rivaan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student he started as a Roofer, but he got bored and became a Locksmith. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Moon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and to end his boredom
