History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born in the east to a Dilettante, Arannis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ploughman profession.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now mingles about in high society.
