History: Shifting was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Banker, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Banker and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

History: Zogdûsh was born the youngest of three triplets. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stylist they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Unemployed, and he later adopted a second son.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor. Sporting a auburn mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.
