History: Edge lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Thervan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.
