History: Frederick was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Frederick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: Born to a Sellsword, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: He comes from a rich western family. A freak accident while working with his Doctor father left him crippled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ratanák fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
