Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Borun alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Engraver kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His parents enrolled him in a Warlock school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he has a crush on the local carpenter
