History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He became a Hunter soon after.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the north to a Bricklayer, Nil learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He became a Bricklayer soon after.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mason born in the past three hundred years. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has achieved small success as a Mason.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new mason responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is unsatisfied with his job
