Locksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Brottor was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a map maker and was forced into it by his family

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Miller.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
