He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: Erky lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
