History: Howard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Expand his business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: Dadalan hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dadalan was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
