History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Mehen was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Randal was born the youngest of three triplets. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Eberk was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Architect hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to share knowledge with the world
