Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alvyn grew up listening to his father's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
