History: He was born in a small mountains village. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aelar was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
