History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born to a Healer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.
