History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ribbles was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has achieved small success as a Ruler.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
