History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He is physically well-built. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his small grey hat.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Assassin mother left him crippled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Broce grew up listening to his father's many stories. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
