Personality: Paelias is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He bought a quarterstaff and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Cartwright.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears grey trousers with green and brown striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Human Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of illithids

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Gifted from a young age, Azzakh studied abroad. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and someone believes him a fraud
