History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Calcitro's homeland. Calcitro decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
