History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Broce grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roondar embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
