History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Thomas was born with his father's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture
