Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Gifted from a young age, Varis studied abroad. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
