History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A 2'11" eastern man, he wears dull white sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed greataxe, just in case. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Cartwright business.

History: He was born in a small island village. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second son.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He now mingles about in high society.
