Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
