A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to goblins.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against goblins

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Corkitron fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and a rival would like him out of the picture
